Lorita's Fresh Mexican Food . Cafe

A real treasure to find really good Mexican food they have beer margaritas the burritos are big at a decent price the weight staff at the front I told him it was the first time hear so she gave me some suggestions. Excellent service, friendly hard to find nowadays people who actually care about their job the owner walked through the restaurant going table by table, asking if everything was OK quite impressive. It’s a definite comeback for me.

I’ve tried many Mexican restaurants, food trucks, small spots, etc, across the country and Lorita’s has to rank in the top 5. This place is high energy with the service. Every person working there had a great, positive attitude. The food was out of this world. My family and I tried many things on the menu and not a single item was bad. The salsa had to be the most authentic I have ever had. Long story short, you can not go wrong here! Great service and better food. The only thing I warn is the portions, they are massive! Order accordingly. We will be back for sure!

It is the cleanest restaurant I have ever been in. At any moment, there were 3 to 5 employees sweeping, dusting, washing and it seemed clean before they started. The setup is a counter just to the right when you walk in, where you place your order at one of three registers. After you pay the order taker and get your receipt, you are given a number plaque to place on the table you choose to sit at. Literally minutes later your food is delivered to your table. I was there mid-afternoon on a Saturday and just ordered chips and Queso. The Queso was delicious, just the right spice with small bits of red and green peppers in it. There is a second counter where alcoholic beverages are ordered and paid for, along with dessert items typical to a Mexican restaurant. I very much h want to return when I am able to have one of the regular meals. From seeing what other diners were eating I expect it to be excellent as well. I should add that there is a very large patio for those inclined to eat in the fresh air.

We tried the birria burrito, rolled tacos, and horchata, and everything tasted great! The employees were so nice and allowed us to sample the horchata before buying it. Excellent place! 🤌 We came back a few days later and tried the birrira quesadilla, and the consomme is the BEST I have ever seen or tasted! I could eat here every day

Okay listen, the food was delicious but I cannot explain to you how bad the heartburn I got from it was. I wasn’t the only one, my sister did too after she ate. I’m sure that’s probably not a very common experience…but that’s the first time I’ve ever gotten it. But hey, the food was delicious and I enjoyed it, but if you’re sensitive to heartburn, maybe go somewhere else. I got the carne asada chimichanga and shrimp tacos, and they were amazing. The service was really good too! It was lowkey worth the pain lol

The salsas are delicious! The food was good. I was disappointed to see that the rolled tacos I ordered were beef and not chicken like I ordered. I ate 1 1/2 rolled tacos at the restaurant and didn’t notice the meat until I was home. The beef has a spice that I can’t pin point.. maybe clove? Not my favorite. The corn tortillas are fresh and delicious. The pineapple aqua was good. I would go back but definitely will check my order. My son enjoyed the carne asada tacos and that says a lot. I did like that they offered fresh cut jalapeños 🤤 and lime.
